My mates Jay Faux and Tom run a clothing label called XCVB, which is launching pretty soon. They’ve also got pretty good music taste and Tom is a magnificent dancer, so Fruits decided to put them on at Threads (at DQ, Sheffield) this week.

It’s been another mad weekend for me with two awesome gigs yet again but this time both were in Manchester
First up was Murkage with The Mystery Jets (DJ Set) which was mudddddd! I had a fair few too many WKDs and ended up taking the mic off the Murkage Cartel & spitting some bars whilst the Mystery Jets were DJing but before that my set went down pretty friggin’ well so that’s good. The club, South, had just been renovated and fitted with a wall of Funktion 1 speakers which sounded incredible! Hopefully I didn’t make too much of a tit of myself and the Murkage lot will have me back again in the new year.
Then friday was the turn of my night Banana with Tom Staar which was pretty special. There was a massive brawl, ambulances, police vans and I played Limp Bizkit! If you weren’t there you missed out.

SAN CITY HIGH IS GOING ON TOUR!!!
Electro impresario Kissy Sell Out first launched his label San City High back in May, and now he’s taking the show on the road with a 16 date nationwide tour starting at the end of September. San City High artists and friends Hot Pink Delorean, Zed’s Dead, Lazy Flow, The Squatters, Urchins, Blamma! Blamma! and the inimitable Union will all be joining Kissy on tour, but you can also expect to see special guest appearances from the likes of Jack Beats, Graffiti6, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Lee Mortimer, Danimal Kingdom, Wonky Ninja and Fenech Soler amongst others.

Not only are they being signed to TURBO Records [Tiga/Brodinski/Erol/Proxy/Riton/ZombieNation/2ManyDjs/Boys Noize] this week, they’re releasing an EP on FAKE BLOOD’s new, and yet to be even named, record label.
They’ve been absolutely smashing dancefloors, with their dark, punishing, grinding beats and trippy synths, these guys are bringing an extraordinary new sound to the scene. Fake Blood and Erol have been dropping their tunes at “HARD” in Miami, and our own residents have been rinsing them for a few months.
